The government has launched ‘Mero Kitta’ and Nepal Land Information System (NELIS) in a bid to facilitate realty sector in the country. In fact, it is now possible to view and print real estate maps online. You don’t have to wait in queue to get your maps.
The Department of Surveying and Mapping has launched the online system to digitize the services provided by its office. Furthermore, the land details from across the country will now be stored in the central server, NELIS. Maps, plot registers and field books have been digitized and, is now available to the service recipients.
Hence, simply log in to www.merokitta.dos.gov.np. to use ‘Mero Kitta’ online service. You can submit land revenue details and print the sketch of your land. In fact, this service has already been implemented in DilliBazaar, Kalanki and Bhaktapur offices of Kathmandu Valley. Also, the department states that the service will be launched in 126 survey offices across the country.

With the launch of this system, the obligation to wait in line for hours at the survey office to view and print the map will end. - Firstly, log in to www.merokitta.dos.gov.np. You can use a mobile app or simply your web browser to log in.
- Enter the required details of the land after receiving the online approval.
- Scan the landowner certificate and citizenship certificate.
- The relevant document link will be available on the page. You can download the document for one week.
- In case you don’t use the link within a week, then you have to re-do the entire process to access the service again.
