A woman cave or a she-shed is a space in or around the house that is solely dedicated to the woman of the house to unwind herself. Each cave can differ from a person’s personality. This is a space created for a ‘me-time’ sessions where one can relax and retreat. The space can be big or small, but it depends on how you decorate it. Well a she-shed can have different themes but here are some of the things that may be included in your secluded space.

A sofa in a woman cave is a must. You can either invest in a day bed or a pull-out couch. These type of sofas not only give a purpose to sit down but they are the perfect loungeable sofas.

A Spa Station

Every woman needs to unwind and what better than a spa station at your cave. It doesn’t necessarily have to have the spa bed or a massage chair, but a simple pedicure system and a facial steamer with required products like face masks or sheets and the essential oils or serums can be present.

Scented Candles

There isn’t any woman that would say no to a room with calming smell. Invest in some good scented candles according to your taste and set the mood of the room. Dedicate a special corner to host your candles. Buy a brass or metal tray from a local thrift store.
